On January 13, 2011 I had the good fortune to visit with the Franklin Middle School 6th grade social classes. They had just begun a section on Minnesota history so my platform presentation, "Explore Your Backyard: Visit Your Minnesota State Parks and Trails" fit in to their plans perfectly! During the course of the day I met with Principal Bob Wayne and explained my platform to him and awarded him his very own Junior Explorer sticker. While I was at the office, who popped in by my friend, Meghan Kuznia, Miss Thief River Falls!
