August 11, 2011 is the day Children's Miracle Network teamed up with Dairy Queen to help raise funds for children in need. Dairy Queen donated a quarter for every blizzard sold that day. I rounded up my family and friends and encouraged them to all visit the Dairy Queen in Thief River Falls. I am pictured with some of the visitors, my friends Craig and Marcy Mickelson. I spent about 2 hours at the Dairy Queen and watched hundreds of dollars get raised for CMN!
