| Crowning Moment! Congratulations to Miss North Metro 2010 Bethany Beniek! |
On Sunday, October 10, 2010 My mom and dad, along with 4 of my little sisters, jumped in the van and drove to the Twin Cities to attend the Miss North Metro/ Miss North Metro Outstanding Teen Pageant. We left Thief River Falls at about 8 AM to make it in time for the 3 PM pageant. It was a day of celebration as I was able to meet many of my friends at the pageant including Miss Minnesota 2010 Kathryn Knuttila, Miss Thief River Falls 2010 Meghan Kuznia, Miss Red River Valley Outstanding Teen 2009 Paige Meyer, and Miss Minnesota Outstanding Teen 2007 Chantal Wilson. I was especially excited to visit with Chantal as I had not seen her for several months and had recently learned that she had decided to compete in the Miss Twin Cities pageant on October 23, 2010. Good Luck, Chantal! I was especially pleased that another one of my friends, Bethany Beniek, was crowned Miss North Metro 2010. Bethany is the former Miss Moorhead 2009. I am excited that our paths will cross many more times this year! Congratulations to our new Queens, Miss North Metro 2010 Bethany Beniek and Miss North Metro Outstanding Teen 2010 Bailey Wachholz!
